The present invention relates to a rooftop greening block and a rooftop greening construction method using the same. The rooftop greening block is integrally molded by mixing a mixture of soil, water, a foaming agent, and a curing agent with an additive, and thus has enough strength. The rooftop greening block includes myriad micropores generated by the foaming agent. Therefore, not only the rooftop greening block has water permeability but also roots of a planted plant reach and pass the micropores and are fixated on the rooftop greening block. Consequently, the block itself provides soil on which the green plant can grow. The rooftop greening block is molded by mixing the mixture of soil, water, the foaming agent, and the curing agent with one additive, or at least two additives selected from zeolite, lignin, paper pulp, cocopeat, cellulose tow, and a resinous moisturizing additive. The rooftop greening block is molded to be in the shape of a block with the height to have a planting area. The myriad pores are formed by the foaming agent in the molded main body. Therefore, the rooftop greening block can drain water. |
