The track level code encodes multiple of the plurality of sectors of the one of the plurality of tracks. The encoded data is stored to the one of the plurality of tracks of the storage device. |

receiving data for storage to one of a plurality of tracks of the storage device, wherein each of the plurality of tracks includes a plurality of sectors; encoding the received data using a track level code to generate first encoded data, wherein the track level code encodes multiple of the plurality of sectors of the one of the plurality of tracks; encoding the first encoded data using a sector level code to generate second encoded data; and storing the second encoded data to the one of the plurality of tracks of the storage device. |
