PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic power generator capable of efficiently generating electric power regardless of variation of water amount of a water channel by properly positioning a runner and a generator to the water channel in which the variation of water amount is large, while preventing increase in dimensions of both of the runner and the generator.SOLUTION: An intermediate connection body 30 respectively connected to a water wheel portion 10 having a runner 12, and a power generating portion 20 having a generator 21, is disposed, and the generator 21 is disposed on a position higher than a water level in a maximum flow rate of the water channel by being supported by the intermediate connection body 30 with respect to the runner portion 10 disposed near a bottom portion of a water channel 90, thus the runner 12 can be efficiently rotated by water while keeping a state that water does not reach the generator 21 when an amount of water of the water channel 90 is large. On the other hand, when the amount of water of the water channel 90 is small, the water reaches the runner 12 at a position near the bottom portion of the water channel 90 without problems, and the runner 12 is rotated, so that the runner 12 can be properly rotated by the water regardless of variation of the water level and electric power can be effectively generated. |
