<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a time required for a storage medium to start.SOLUTION: A power supply control device includes reception means, a control circuit, a delay circuit, and a power supply circuit. The reception means receives a request to turn on or off its own device. The control circuit outputs a first signal for turning on or off power supply to a storage medium according to the request. The delay circuit delays output of the first signal for a predetermined time if the request instructs switching from off to on. The power supply circuit starts or stops the power supply to the storage medium on the basis of the first signal.</p> |
