<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic electronic component with a metal terminal capable of preventing sound squeak during use.SOLUTION: The ceramic electronic component with the metal terminal comprises: a chip component 12 with which terminal electrodes 14 and 16 are formed in both end portions; and a pair of metal terminals 20 and 30 including flat plate parts 22 and 32 connected to the terminal electrodes via junctions while including a flat plate part opposite surface 22a disposed to oppose an end face of the chip component, and mounting parts 24 and 34 connected to an end portion 22b of one of the flat plate parts and extending in a direction substantially perpendicular to the flat plate parts. The mounting part includes a mounting part bottom face 24a forming an angle of about 270° to the flat plate parts, and a mounting part top face 24b forming an angle of about 90° to the flat plate parts. In the flat plate parts, a solder deposition prevention area 23 is formed in which solder wetness is lower than that of the mounting part bottom face.</p> |
