<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce deformation of a lens surface caused by curing and shrinkage of a resin when a diffraction optical element is produced by curing the resin.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a diffraction optical element includes the steps of: arranging a mold 91 on a first lens 30A, and filling a space between the first lens and the mold with a first resin material, and curing the first resin material; and arranging a second lens 40A on a first diffraction grating 21A, and filling a space between the first diffraction grating and the second lens with a second resin material, and curing the second resin material. A first surface 22A formed by apexes of the first diffraction grating has an aspherical portion, and the aspherical portion has a shape different from that of a surface 42A on the side of the diffraction optical element of the second lens and has a convex surface on the side of the second lens in the vicinity of an optical axis.</p> |
