<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately rate a singing performance even when a point rating section exists where pitch data cannot be extracted according to a type of consonant included in a word in lyrics.SOLUTION: A singing point rating system 10, which sets each of point rating sections for singing point rating to be shorter period than sung time of respective words in lyrics of karaoke music and calculates singing point rating value by comparing singing voice signal inputted from a microphone 23 with rating reference data in respective point rating sections, is provided with point rating processing means 38 for carrying out point rating processing which varies according to the type of a consonant regarding the point rating section including the consonant. This point rating processing means 38 has a pitch detection function that detects pitches in singing voice used for point rating, can detect the pitch of a vowel included in respective point rating section and carry out varying point rating processing according to the time length of the consonant regarding the point rating section including the consonant.</p> |
