PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight railroad quadricycle that can be used as a small transport vehicle (a transport cost can be reduced), by removing a guard frame in which a holding rod part is generally positioned in a location higher than a seat at the front part of a vehicle body frame to reduce bulkiness.SOLUTION: A lightweight railroad quadricycle is provided in which at least a seat 3, a drive engine unit 4, and an electric generator used for illumination, are mounted on a quadricycle body frame 1 borne by two pairs 2, 2' of wheels for rolling on rails of the railroad, provided at front and rear sides of the body frame 1, respectively, and a windshield body 6 provided with a guard frame 8'' as an upper rod part 8''a used as a holding rod for securing the safety of workers is detachably erected at a leading end part of the body frame 1. Here, the guard frame 8'' is constituted of a frame body with oppositely-set side rods 8''b formed by bending longitudinally both ends of the upper rod part 8''a, and a supporting rod for engaging the lower ends of the side rods of the guard frame and fixing them, with fixtures, is erected at the leading end part of the body frame 1. Also, the windshield body is formed on the front face of the guard frame by stacking a windshield panel 8'. |
