PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setting update device capable of reducing a user's workload for adjusting operation settings of a television receiver.SOLUTION: A setting update device 1 for updating an operation setting of a television receiver 2 comprises: an information input receiving unit 11 to which information of a predetermined item about a user of the television receiver 2 is input as user information; and a TV setting information determination unit 12 that determines content of the operation setting of the television receiver on the basis of the input user information. The operation setting of the television receiver 2 is updated so as to match the determined content.
