PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical imaging probe preventing rotation unevenness, axial runout, friction, and rotation transmission delay of a rotation portion in an OCT image diagnosing probe, and capable of obtaining a three-dimensional observation image by performing scanning of a prescribed length in an axial direction. ! SOLUTION: An optical imaging probe includes a condenser lens on the tip side of an optical fiber connecting the tip side and the rear side inside a nearly tubular catheter. A mirror which is present on the tip side with respect to the condenser lens and is optical path conversion means is rotated by a motor. The mirror is inclined at a prescribed angle to an axis, and reflects light rays sent from behind and passing the condenser lens at an angle from the axis, and the rotating optical path conversion means has means varying the inclined angle within a prescribed range.
