<p>The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device and, more specifically, to an array substrate for an organic thin film transistor liquid crystal display device capable of improving the driving characteristics of an organic thin film transistor using a high molecular substance as a semiconductor layer, and a method for manufacturing the same. To this end, the organic thin film transistor liquid crystal display device according to the present invention includes: a substrate which is divided into a switching area, a pixel area, a gate area, and a data area; a data line, a source electrode, and a drain electrode which consist of one among copper, silver, molybdenum, wherein the data line is arranged in one direction in the data area on the substrate, the source electrode extends from the data line, and the drain electrode is spaced apart from the source electrode; a metal oxide film pattern which is formed on the exposed upper surfaces of the data line, the source electrode, and the drain electrode; a pixel electrode which is directly in side contact with the drain electrode; an organic semiconductor layer which is positioned on an upper part overlapped between the source and drain electrodes; a gate insulating film pattern which covers the organic semiconductor layer and the gate area; a gate line and a gate electrode which are positioned on an upper part of the gate insulating film pattern, wherein the gate line corresponds to the gate area and the gate electrode protrudes from the gate line; and a passivation film which covers the gate electrode, the gate line, the data line, and the organic semiconductor layer, and includes a pixel open hole exposing the pixel area.</p> |
