<p>A member for a hydrocarbon resource collection downhole tool characterized: in being obtained from a molding of a polyglycolic acid resin with a weight average molecular weight of 70 thousand or more and with an effective thickness of ½ or more of the critical thickness for surface degradation; and in the rate of thickness reduction in water being constant with respect to time. As a result, more precise design of the strength and time until breakdown of the downhole tool member that forms part or all of a temporary use tool for forming or repairing downholes for collecting hydrocarbon resources such as petroleum and gasoline is made possible.</p> |
