PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embroidery frame and a sewing machine capable of surely holding a workpiece even when it has uneven thickness.SOLUTION: An embroidery frame 100 includes: a lower side holding member 110 where a workpiece can be placed; and an upper side holding member 106 where the workpiece placed on the lower side holding member 110 can be pressed from the upper side. The embroidery frame 100 further includes first adjustment means 108 capable of adjusting a distance between the lower side holding member 110 and the upper side holding member 106 in a state where the workpiece placed on the lower side holding member 110 is pressed from the upper side by the upper side holding member 106. The embroidery frame 100 can hold the workpiece having uneven thickness more surely than the conventional embroidery frame 100, by properly adjusting the distance between the lower side holding member 110 and the upper side holding member 106 by operating the first adjustment means 108. |
