PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle headlight for enabling early detection of pedestrians or others in front of a vehicle even in low-beam light distribution having a cutoff line.SOLUTION: A vehicle headlight 1 includes first irradiation means with which a predetermined region in front of an owned vehicle is irradiated with a first light distribution pattern having a cutoff line at the upper end, and which has a projector type unit equipped with a projection optical system, and second irradiation means with which the predetermined region is irradiated with a second light distribution pattern partially overlapping the first light distribution pattern and including a region expanding to the further upside than the first light distribution pattern in a range from an elbow point of the cutoff line to the outside at a predetermined horizontal angle or larger, and which has a reflector type unit equipped with a reflection optical system. |
