<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a social game capable of, when a new group is created, allowing the group to progress a game smoothly.SOLUTION: A server device that provides a game, in which a plurality of players can participate, is connected to terminal devices operated by the players via a communication line. The server device comprises: an information storage unit that stores information associated with the game; and a control unit that accesses the information, executes an arithmetic operation relating to the game, and displays an image of the game at the terminal devices. The information storage unit has, as a part of the information associated with the game, information on a first group in which the players participate, and information on a second group in which the players are supposed to participate. The control unit receives a notification of acceptance of participation in the second group from the terminal devices and, when it is determined that the number of players to participate in the second group reaches a prescribed number on the basis of the notification, stores the second group as a new first group in the information storage unit.</p> |
