PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of blow-by in an engine using cylinder injection and port injection in combination and utilize the merits of each injection system.SOLUTION: An engine control device 1 with a supercharger 30 includes a cylinder injection valve 11, a port injection valve 12, and a variable valve train 40. It has injection control means 3 for controlling fuel injection by the cylinder injection valve 11 and fuel injection by the port injection valve 12 on the basis of a load P of an engine 10, and variable valve control means 5 for controlling the variable valve train 40 on the basis of the load P. The variable valve control means 5 provides a valve overlap period in the operating condition where the load P is not lower than a first predetermined value P. The injection control means 3 performs the cylinder injection and the port injection in the operating condition where the load P is not lower than the first predetermined value P, and retards a timing for the fuel injection by the port injection valve 12 in the operating condition where the load P is not lower than a second predetermined value Phigher than the first predetermined value P, relative to a timing for the port injection in the operating condition where the load P is lower than the second predetermined value P. |
