PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating apparatus which can easily adjust the installation height of a heating coil according to the diameter of a workpiece whose peripheral surface is supported.SOLUTION: A non-movable base member 7 is provided with a rotatable shaft member 11. The shaft member 11 is provided with a pin 15 orthogonal to an axis center of the shaft member 11. A movable member 8 integrated with a heating coil 5 is provided with a cylindrical member 10. The peripheral surface of the cylindrical member 10 is provided with a slit 14. The slit 14 is inclined so that one end 14 side becomes high and the other end 14 side becomes low. The shaft member 11 penetrates the movable member 8 and the cylindrical member 10, and the pin 15 is arranged in the slit 14. When the shaft member 11 is rotated, the pin 15 moves in the slit 14 to change the height of the movable member 8 and the height of the heating coil 5. As a result, the height of the heating coil 5 can be adjusted to the height of a workpiece 6 whose peripheral surface 6a is mounted on a workpiece support member 2.
