<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decontamination adsorbent more inexpensive than zeolite, having adsorption power to a radioactive material in the same degree as zeolite or higher.SOLUTION: An adsorbent for decontaminating a radioactive material is obtained by burning a material formed by pulverizing (1) diatomaceous earth, mud or clay, or (2) a material formed by solidifying naturally diatomaceous earth, or a mudstone or a claystone. Further, the adsorbent for decontaminating a radioactive material is obtained by pulverizing a material formed by burning and solidifying diatomaceous earth, mud or clay.</p> |
