<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a short-period component of an earthquake ground motion input into a structure supported by a base-isolating device.SOLUTION: In a foundation structure 100, an input loss of an earthquake ground motion is caused by a soil improvement body 150 with high rigidity, which is created (formed) in soft ground 20, and a short-period component of the earthquake ground motion input into a base isolation pit 110 is reduced. Thus, secondary vibration mode vibrations of a structure 10, which are generated by a short-period predominant component excited by nonlinearity of a damper 220 configuring a base-isolating device 200, are reduced.</p> |
