<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire having a belt structure that has lowered noise generated during tire rolling and reduced weight.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire has, in a tire tread, a gently inclined belt layer which covers, with a rubber, a plurality of cords arranged in parallel to each other outside in the tire radial direction of a radial carcass and extending while inclining relative to the tread circumferential direction, and a steeply inclined belt layer which covers, with the rubber, a plurality of cords positioned outside the gently inclined belt layer in the tire radial direction, arranged in parallel to each other and extending to the tread circumferential direction. The angle formed by the extending direction of the cords of the gently inclined belt layer and the tire axial direction is smaller compared with the angle formed by the extending direction of the cords of the steeply inclined belt layer and the tire axial direction. The cords constituting at least one of the gently inclined and steeply inclined belt layers include a vibration-damping wire comprising metallic damping material.</p> |
