<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car upper handrail device of an elevator which can suppress sounding during elevation of a car without giving an adverse effect onto car upper equipment.SOLUTION: A car upper handrail device 10 comprises: a pair of upper handrails 14 for connection between a pair of vertical columns 13, which are so disposed as to be separated from each other in a depth direction, and tips of the pair of vertical columns 13; a right handrail part 11 and a left handrail part 12 which are held in a standing state along both sides of the upper part of the car during maintenance inspection, and are inclined inwards centered on a root part of the vertical column 13 and held in a lodging state at positions, where both the handrail parts do not interfere with each other, during normal time; a raising base 24 which is fixed to a front beam 6c and a rear beam of a car upper frame 6, rotatably supports the root part of each vertical column 13, and raises the right handrail part 11 and the left handrail part 12 in a lodging state to a position upper than car upper equipment 9; and a front leg part 17 and a left leg part 22 which are attached to the tips of respective vertical columns 13, and contact the front beam 6c and the rear beam during normal time, thereby holding the right handrail part 11 and the left handrail part 12 in said lodging state.</p> |
