<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip processing device for a machine tool, which is enabled to take necessary measures by detecting the deformation and breakage of a scraping plate and to avoid a problem that the machine tool is packed with cutting chips.SOLUTION: A chip processing device comprises: an abnormality detection part 46 for detecting the abnormality of a scraping plate 36 on the basis of the passage timing of a scraping plate 36 input from a limit switch 27; and an alarm unit (or an abnormality notification part) 47 for notifying the occurrence of the abnormality of the scraping plate when the abnormality is detected.</p> |
