<p>The present invention relates to a multi-display device for a smartphone capable of independently displaying a display on the smartphone and an external monitor by mounting the smartphone on a docking station and receiving input from the external monitor. The present invention comprises the smartphone which comprises a local area communication unit and a plurality of frame buffer drivers; the docking station which outputs image data inputted from the smartphone by docking the smartphone; and the external monitor which displays the image data and offers the data for a touch position inputted from a user to the smartphone through the local area communication unit. The docking station comprises an MHL terminal for inputting and outputting the image data and an image conversion unit which converts MHL image data into HDMI image data or VGA image data.
