PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball having a low spin rate on iron shots and a high spin rate on approach shots.SOLUTION: The multi-piece golf ball includes a center C and n-layered (n is a natural number of 3 or more) envelope layers covering the center C. When material hardness (Shore D hardness) of the center C is defined as HO, the envelope layers sequentially formed from the center C side are defined as a first envelope layer, a second envelope layer, a third envelope layer, a fourth envelope layer, ..., n-1th envelope layer, and n-th envelope layer (an outermost layer), and the material hardnesses thereof are defined as H1, H2, H3, H4, ..., Hn-1, and Hn, the material hardnesses satisfy H2<H0<Hn-1, and the center C is formed of a thermoplastic resin composition and the second envelope layer is formed of a rubber composition. |
