PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive socket capable of surely fitting a lamp thereto with excellent fitting feeling of the lamp.SOLUTION: A pin receiving part 64 has a flat plate surface arranged opposite to an outer peripheral surface of a rotor 51. The rotor 51 has a power feeding pin insertion part 54 to/from which a power feeding pin 26 is attachable and detachable and is rotatable between a first position to/from which the power feeding pin 26 is attachable and detachable and a second position where the power feeding pin 26 and the pin receiving part 64 come into contact with each other and are electrically energized. On the outer peripheral surface of the rotor 51, two pairs of plane parts 55a, 55a', 55b, 55b' are formed which have parallel positions to the flat plate surfaces of a pair of pin receiving parts 64 when the rotor is on the first position and the second position. |
