PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing apparatus to be supplied with toner through a supply port, configured to prevent the toner from being excessively supplied.SOLUTION: A developing apparatus 24 includes: a storage chamber 246 storing an agitation unit 245 which rotates axially and agitates developer G containing toner T and carrier CA, and is supplied with the toner T from above through a supply port 250; and a rotating body 249 which is arranged above the storage chamber 246, faces the supply port 250, adsorbs developer G while rotating axially when a top face of the developer G in the storage chamber 246 is equal to or higher than a height L, and conveys it into the supply port 250 to be retained in the supply port 250. |
