PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a silicon carbide heating element in an electric resistance heating furnace, capable of effectively reducing power consumption.SOLUTION: In a mounting structure of a silicon carbide heating element 1 including a heating part and an end part 3, the end part 3 being provided with an electrode part 4, the silicon carbide heating element 1 is mounted to a furnace wall 5 of an electric resistance heating furnace. The end part 3 of the silicon carbide heating element 1 is inserted in a furnace wall through hole 6 provided in the furnace wall 5 of the electric resistance heating furnace, and the end part 3 and the electrode part 4 are accommodated in the furnace wall. |
