PURPOSE:To provide a color image forming device by which a color image having improved quality is obtained, where an image carrier is made small, and which is entirely and easily miniaturized by separating time wise an image forming stage for each color from action accompanied with the mechanical vibration such as switching a developing device. CONSTITUTION:Relation among a distance L2 from a latent image forming position 21 to a transfer position 22 on a photosensitive drum 4a, the circumferential length L1 of a transfer drum 3, and length L3 in a winding direction of the longest transfer material 2, which can be wound, to the transfer drum 3 is set to L1-L3>L2. By setting the relation of the distance, the image forming stage for each color is separated time wise from the action accompanied with the mechanical vibration such as switching the developing device for each color, the color image having the improved quality is obtained, and the photosensitive drum 4a is made small, thereby accomplishing the purpose. |
