PURPOSE:To miniaturize a luminaire by improving a light distribution characteristic. CONSTITUTION:A reflector 3, containing an HID lamp 16 having a linear emitting part 19, is constituted of a main reflecting part 21 and an auxiliary reflecting part 31. The main reflecting part 21 is constituted by continuing main reflecting surface parts 22a to 22e, respectively formed as a paraboloid, through stepped parts 23a to 23e. The auxiliary reflecting part 31 is constituted by continuing a plurality of auxiliary reflecting surface parts 32a, 32b, formed as a rotary paraboloid, through an intermediate reflecting surface part 33. A light beam, radiated toward each stepped part 23a to 23e of the main reflecting part 21, is reflected in a direction of facing to the main reflecting surface parts 22a to 22e by these stepped parts 23a to 23e. A light beam, radiated toward the stepped part 33 of each auxiliary reflecting part 31, is reflected in a direction of facing to the auxiliary reflectin surface parts 32a, 32b by this stepped part 33. Accordingly, the light beam, radiated from the linear emitting part 19, is efficiently reflected, and a light distribution characteristic can be improved. Illuminance can be improved by concentrating the light beam to a central part in the lengthwise direction of an irradiated part. |
