PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an observation device having excellent color reproducibility.SOLUTION: A laser light source 120 having a plurality of light sources which emit light of different wavelength regions, emits a laser beam. The laser beam is emitted as illumination light from a light emitting unit 210 via optical fibers 170, 215. An imaging unit 220 images an illuminated subject, and generates image data. A light quantity adjustment unit 110 calculates the amount of light to be emitted from the light sources of the laser light source 120 so that the amount of light emitted from the laser light source 120 is lower for a wavelength region having high reflection light intensity, and the amount of light emitted from the laser light source 120 is higher for a wavelength region having low reflection light intensity. An image processing unit 150 generates a color image on the basis of the image data, in consideration of the amount of light emitted from the laser light source. |
