PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure reduction valve in which occurrence of insufficient flow rate is suppressed in a water discharge device such as a cock or shower connected to a secondary side passage.SOLUTION: A pressure reduction valve comprises: a primary side passage 27; a secondary side passage 28 extended in a direction intersecting the primary side passage; a valve hole 14 which is a communication hole between the primary side passage and the secondary side passage and is directed in an extension direction of the secondary side passage; a pressure sensitive chamber 21 communicating to the secondary side passage; a valve body 15 arranged in the secondary side passage, receiving energization force due to an inner pressure of the pressure sensitive chamber to move forth and back, thus opening and closing the valve hole; a communication passage 29 with one end opened in a peripheral side wall of the secondary side path and the other end opened in an enclosure of the pressure sensitive chamber. The one end opening of the communication passage is positioned downstream of a surface facing the valve hole of the valve body when opening the valve. |
