PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress fluctuations in a DC link voltage without increasing the capacity of a DC link capacitor of a generator exciting device.SOLUTION: The generator exciting device includes a plurality of first power converters that are electrically connected with windings of each phase of a rotor of a winding type induction generator in which the rotor windings of each phase are made to become electrically independent and that converts bi-directionally DC and AC between the DC side of the first power converter and an AC power supply, and is electrically connected with the DC side of the second power converter, with the DC side of the first power converter in common. |
