<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer having increased opportunity in which a cutter is coated with oil for suppressing a situation that hindrance to operation of the device occurs.SOLUTION: The printer comprises: an oil coating part for applying oil to a cutter blade which is used for cutting a long-sheet on which printing was performed by a print part and for forming a flat-sheet; a contact-separation mechanism for moving the oil coating part and the cutter blade relatively, and making the oil coating part contact to and separate from the cutter blade; a first operation piece SS3 used for operation for making the oil coating part and the cutter blade contact by the contact-separation mechanism; and a second operation piece SS1 used for operation for making the oil coating part and the cutter blade contact by the contact-separation mechanism. The second operation piece SS1 also serves as an open operation piece for operation for opening an open mechanism that opens a transport path of the sheet.</p> |
