<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding and rotating mechanism which has such a structure that the occurrence of vibration on a rotational driving device side is more surely suppressed regardless of a connection state between the rotational driving device side and a rotation object side.SOLUTION: A holding and rotating mechanism 1 holds a drive plate B between two engaging members 30 for transmitting a rotative power of a rotating member 20 and rotates the drive plate B. Respective engaging members 30 can be swung to engagement positions where they are engaged in a state where the power can be transmitted to the drive plate B, and release positions where they are disengaged. Further, the holding and rotating mechanism includes switch mechanisms for switching respective engaging members 30 between the engagement positions and the release positions and urging members 40 for urging respective engaging members 30 toward the engagement positions. The plurality of engaging members 30 located in the engagement positions hold therebetween the drive plate B in a floating state where they are pressed to the drive plate B by the urging members 40.</p> |
