<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the whole battery compact by forming an auxiliary battery as an integral structure with a lead battery, and to stably connect the auxiliary battery with the lead battery via a metal-plate bus bar in a low resistance state.SOLUTION: A battery provided with an auxiliary battery is provided with an auxiliary battery housing chamber 16 sectioned in a battery case 40 for a lead battery 1 that is configured so that an upper opening of a lead battery case 10 is closed with a plastic lead battery lid 17. The auxiliary battery 2 is housed in this auxiliary battery housing chamber 16. In the battery, a bus bar 32 connecting between at least one output terminal 3 of the lead battery 1 and the output side of the auxiliary battery 2 is coupled with the output terminal 3 of the lead battery 1 as an integral structure. Further, a coupling part between the output terminal 3 and the bus bar 32 is fixed to the lead battery lid 17 by insert molding in a state that the coupling part is embedded in the plastic of the lead battery lid 17.</p> |
