<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve improved energy saving by improving efficiency in a desiccant dehumidifier.SOLUTION: A desiccant dehumidifier comprises: a rotating desiccant rotor 20; an air supply path 50 arranged to correspond to a part 20b of the desiccant rotor 20 downward of a central shaft C of the desiccant rotor 20 in a vertical direction V; an exhaust path 60 arranged to correspond to a part 20a upward of the central shaft C in the vertical direction V; and a heating coil 40 arranged upstream of the desiccant rotor 20 in the exhaust path 60. The desiccant rotor 20 includes therein a plurality of coils 31 (pipes) and a central header 32 (pipe) formed to radially extend from the central shaft C to an outer circumferential surface of the desiccant rotor 20 and having hollow interiors, the interiors of the coils 31 and the central header 32 communicating with one another at the central shaft C. As for the interiors of the coils 31 and the central header 32, cooling water B is stored in portions located downward of the central shaft C in the vertical direction V, and gas A is stored in those located upward of the central shaft C in the vertical direction V.</p> |
