PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a string-like body which is easily pulled off as a string-like body when disassembling a core member and has a predetermined holding strength as a core member.SOLUTION: A core ribbon 10 comprises: a string main body part 20; a first connection part 31 extending from the string main body part 20 to the side of a side part 16 at the side of a principal surface 12; a first protruding part 32 which extends from the first connection part 31 to the middle of a principal surface 14; a second connection part 41 which extends from the string main body part 20 to the side of a side part 18 at the side of the principal surface 14; and a second protruding part 42 which extends from the second connection part 41 to the middle of the principal surface 12. When a core member 2 is formed by spirally winding the core ribbon 10, the first protruding part 32 is positioned in a second recess 24, and the second protruding part 42 is positioned in a first recess 23 while separating a protruding end 45 from a surface 33 of the first connection part 31. A surface 36 of the first protruding part 32 and a surface 22 of the string main body part 20 are substantially parallel and coupled with each other.
