<p>The present invention relates to a data storage device and, more specifically, to a method for a data storage device capable of increasing the reliability of the data storage device. The method for operating the data storage device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a step for reading a first data group; a step for detecting errors included in the first data group; a step for correcting the errors of the first data group when the errors detected from the first data group are corrected; and a step for estimating reading retry estimation voltage based on the error correcting data of the step for correcting the errors. The reading retry estimation voltage is used in an initial reading retry step.</p> |
