The disclosure relates to a support apparatus which is switchable between an opened and collapsed position in which the support apparatus includes four legs (10a,b; 20a,b) each one provided in its lower portion (11a,b; 21a,b) with a wheel (17a,b; 27a,b), and in which the legs are interconnected with one another by means of mechanical connection members (4a,b, 18). The legs (10a,b; 20a,b) pairwise form a front leg frame (1) comprising the legs (10a,b), and a rear leg frame (2) comprising the legs (20a,b). Both leg frames (1, 2) have an orientation which is substantially transversely directed in relation to the direction of movement of the apparatus, and the leg frames are interconnected with one another by means of articulated connection members (4a,b) in which the leg frames are displaced relative to one another between the opened and collapsed positions. The articulated connection members are oriented in the main direction of movement of the apparatus and are disposed between a first leg (10a) of the front leg frame (1), and a first leg (20a) of the rear leg frame (2), and between a second leg (10b) of the front leg frame (1) and a second leg (20b) of the rear leg frame (2). At least one (4b) of the articulated connection members is provided with locking means for fixing the leg frames when the apparatus is in its opened position. |
