PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control device capable of easily maintaining a transport machine at desired speed.SOLUTION: A remote control device 10 comprises: an instruction section 25; and a control section 26 that controls the speed of an unmanned helicopter based on an instruction from the instruction section 25. The instruction section 25 is capable of alternatively outputting a speed change signal for changing the speed of the unmanned helicopter and a speed determination signal for determining the speed of the unmanned helicopter. The control section 26, when an output from the instruction section 25 is switched from the speed change signal to the speed determination signal, determines whether the speed of the unmanned helicopter is maintained or set to zero based on a comparison result between speed information of the unmanned helicopter and a threshold value. It is preferable that the speed change signal be a signal that changes the speed of the unmanned helicopter by changing an inclination angle of a nose of the unmanned helicopter in a vertical direction so as to correspond to an operation quantity of the instruction section 25. |
