<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image capturing lens whose total length is reduced while maintaining good optical performance.SOLUTION: An image capturing lens includes first through fifth lens elements arranged in order from the object side to the image side, and the first lens element 3 has a convex portion near a circumferential edge on an image-side surface 32 thereof. The second lens element 4 has a concave portion near a circumferential edge on an object-side surface 41 thereof. The second lens element 4 has a convex portion near a circumferential edge on an image-side surface 42 thereof. The third lens element 5 has a concave portion near a circumferential edge on an object-side surface 51 thereof. The fourth lens element 6 has positive refractive power and has a concave portion near an optical axis on an object-side surface 61 thereof.
