PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a milk beverage useful for a consumer having difficulty in mass ingestion to intake nutrients such as protein in a continuous and efficient manner, having excellent flavor with prevention of quality deterioration with time.SOLUTION: The milk beverage including 4.0 mass% or more and less than 8.0 mass% of protein, 0 mass% or more and 2.7 mass% or less of fat, and 0.1 mass% or more and 2.3 mass% or less of lactose, and the manufacturing method thereof are provided. A method for improving flavor and a method for preventing deterioration include adjusting each of the components to the above.
