PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system having a configuration that can bend a bent part and a portion of an overtube covering the bent part integrally at a sufficient angle to improve treatment properties of an examined region.SOLUTION: An endoscope system includes: an overtube 30 covering the outer circumference of an insertion part of an endoscope in a state that the overtube 30 has a gap K; a pair of projections 41, 42 airtightly sealing a space Ka, of the gap K, between the outer circumferential face 12g of a bent part 12 and the inner circumferential face 30na facing the outer circumferential face 12g; a pipe line 35 formed in the overtube 30, and having one end 35i opened in the space Ka and the other end 35t opened to the outside of the overtube 30; and a syringe 50 connected to an opening of the other end 35t and causing only the outer circumferential face 12g to be adhered to the inner circumferential face 30na facing the outer circumferential face 12g by exhausting a gas in the space Ka. |
