PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil of which the performance is improved by reducing a folding portion when a flat coil is bent, and a manufacturing method of the coil.SOLUTION: A flat coil 20 is formed by laminating at least annular first coil layer 11 and second coil layer 12 including a pair of linear parts 11A (12A) opposing each other in a first direction and a pair of terminal parts 11B (12B) opposing each other in a second direction crossing the first direction. A coil 5 is formed by bending the flat coil 20 at the side of at least one terminal part. The flat coil 20 is an α-winding coil and bent from the side of the second coil layer 12 to the side of the first coil layer 11. In the terminal part at the side of bending, a first distal end face 11a of the first coil layer 11 in the second direction and a second distal end face 12a of the second coil layer 12 in the second direction are positioned on the same plane. |
