PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development device capable of easily assembling a first seal member in a casing.SOLUTION: In a development cartridge 1, a blade seal 32 arranged between a development frame 31 for storing toner and a layer thickness regulation blade 4 for regulating the thickness of toner carried by a development roller 2 is positionally fixed to the development frame 31 in a lateral direction according as each of lateral both ends of a lower rib 51B of a center in the lateral direction comes into contact with each of two lower protruding parts 71B of a center in the lateral direction, and according as each of the lateral both ends of the blade seal 32 comes into contact with a development roller attachment part 41 of each of a pair of side walls 36. |
