PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle utilization reservation management system that allows an individual person to smoothly perform operation to share a vehicle of the person and vehicles of neighbors among people in the neighborhood.SOLUTION: An owner 10 transmits lending availability information to a management server 20 from a personal computer 11 at home or a mobile terminal 12 via a communication network. A user 30 transmits reservation information or reservation change information to the management server 20 from a personal computer 31 at home or a mobile terminal 32 via the communication network. The user 30 makes a reservation by reservation processing 50. When the user 30 starts to use, the user goes to a place of the owner 10, performs utilization start processing 60, and authenticates the owner 10 and the user 30. After the completion of authentication, the owner 10 hands a key of the vehicle over to the user 30. When finishing the use, the user 30 goes to the place of the owner 10, performs utilization end processing 61, and authenticates the owner 10 and the user 30. After the completion of authentication, the user 30 returns the key of the vehicle to the owner 10. Providing a sequence of processing from the lending availability, through reservation and utilization start to utilization end through the management server enables smooth car sharing. |
