PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space-saving and low-cost stereoscopic image display device capable of realizing large screen naked eye stereoscopic display.SOLUTION: A stereoscopic image display device is constituted of N (N is a positive integer) display modules 10. The display modules 10 are constituted of: flat panel displays 22; lenticular lenses 24, and have: display parts 20 which display stereoscopic images by multi-eye type stereoscopic display forming viewpoint groups; and imaging optical systems 40 for imaging viewpoint groups VGformed by the display parts 20 in a space outside as view point groups VGfor observers. The imaging optical systems 40 have: screen lenses 44; and imaging lenses 42 for imaging display faces of the display parts 20 on the screen lenses 44. The screen lenses 44 are arranged at positions where imaging magnifications by the imaging lenses 42 become more than 1.
