PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical component and a device provided with a substrate, a micro lens array, and a barrier film system that conformably coats the micro lens array.SOLUTION: An OLED 710 may be optically coupled to a micro lens array 410. A barrier film 720 may protect the micro lens array 410 or other components without significantly negatively influencing on out-coupling of light from the coupled OLED 710 by the micro lens array 410.
