<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cut-off material for an expansion spacing, which facilitates connection work and which makes a connected part possess sufficient durability.SOLUTION: A cut-off material 20 for an expansion spacing, which is split in a width direction of a road bridge, comprises a connection structure. The cut-off material 20 for the expansion spacing comprises a cut-off material body 21 and a sponge layer 23, and the sponge layer 23 is adhered to an end face of the cut-off material body 21. In the sponge layer 23 that is lower in compression stress than the cut-off material body and that wholly exerts a cut-off function, both compressibility and an elongation percentage are high. Thus, the cut-off material 20 for the expansion spacing enables the cut-off material body 21 to be connected only by bringing the two sponge layers 23 into intimate contact with each other.</p> |
