The present invention relates to a method for screening a treating agent for atopic dermatitis or zeroderma. More specifically, a substance to be tested is applied to a skin cell; and if the substance reduces expression or activity of extracellular-signal-regulated kinase (ERK), the substance is determined to be an active substance for the agent. According to the present invention, the agent for preventing or treating atopic dermatitis or zeroderma can be rapidly and efficiently screened by checking a degree of expression and activity of ERK after applying the substance to be tested to the skin cell.
